If you're planning on purchasing a Tesla Model 3, you might want to get the long range trim on that bad boy. It's going to cost you a bit more, but the perks are definitely worth it. For starters, the Long Range Model 3 will be getting 310 miles on a full charge, while the standard Model 3 only gets 220. The batteries in the long range trim also charge quite a bit faster.

The standard Model 3 supercharging will get about 130 miles in 30 minutes. The long range will be getting 170 miles in 30 minutes. You will have to wait a bit longer to get a full range charge in the long range trim, but that's only because of the extra 90-mile range. The long range trim will charge 340 miles per hour, compared to the 260 miles per hour for the standard Model 3.

The long range trim can go from 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds, compared the 5.6 seconds it takes the standard version. It also has a top speed of 140 mph, which is 10 mph more than the standard. As for the price difference, it's going to be $44,000, compared to the $35,000 of the standard Model 3. As with most Teslas, it comes with several additions and packages that you can purchase at your own leisure. The long range trim models are not available to the public for reservation just yet, but they should be coming very soon!
