It's been 35 years since Saleen started up. And to mark the occasion, they're announcing a special edition modified Mustang. Dubbed the SA 35, Saleen automotive will be producing a limited 10 examples.

While now, Saleen manufactures their own vehicles, they started out as a Mustang tuner in 1983. the company's original focus was on improving the vehicle's handling. The SA 35 will be given special treatment in that aspect, as well.

The SA 35 will feature a Racecraft R Code suspension, and a modified 5.0-liter V-8 pushing 780 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque. This power boost is thanks to a new exhaust system and a supercharger installment.

The exterior was also given special treatment. Black, white, and yellow accent each other in a sharp design. The colors sit on a new fender and hood design, a custom rear wing, and forge aluminum wheels designed by Saleen themselves. The cabin shares in the color scheme, while brandishing a special badge marking the car's rarity.

Before the SA 35, we saw the 302 Black Label Mustang. This vehicle was in homage to the 30th anniversary of the SCCA/Escort Endurance Championship win, where Saleen won the Driver, Manufacturer, Team, and Tire titles.
