News doesn't always come to us directly from the manufacturers. This time the news comes to us from the well-known tuner, Roush. This time relating to the upcoming 2018 Ford Mustang.

Roush recently released a teaser image for the 2018 Mustang. Having been in development for a while, it's now expected to make a full and proper appearance at the upcoming 2018 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

One key item of interest is the "2" marked on the grill. This implies that it is a Stage 2 package for the Mustang GT. While the current package has some upgrades and visual changes, this new iteration is sure to be a step above that.

The supercharger packages from Roush have already put out Mustang GTs capable of over 700hp, so it is expected that this secret version will meet if not exceed those numbers. No doubt it will be stronger than ever considering the base 2018 Mustang GT will have a 5.0-liter V-8 under the hood.

Otherwise very little is actually known regarding this teased vehicle, but more details are sure to come within the next few weeks.

Stay tuned!
