Roush is embracing their inner scares for this year's SEMA event. In the true spirit of Halloween, the automotive company is resurrecting the Ford F-150 Nitemare.

The Nitemare originated in 2007. At the time, it was a Harley Davidson truck pushing around 445 horsepower. Ten years later, it returned as a Ford F-150 boasting a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 with an impressive 600 horsepower. But nightmares don't rest easy, so the Nitemare itself is returning for 2018, now with 650 hp.

The 2018 example retains the previous 5.0-liter V-8 engine. But this time, some improvements have been made. It's now been equipped with a Roush TVS R2650 Supercharger and an active exhaust. Custom 22-inch wheels support Continental Crosscontact tires 295/45R22 in size.

There's more than power to this truck, though. External lights emanate a certain ambience around it while app-controlled engine sounds growl to the consumer's liking. Using your smartphone, you can customize exactly how much sound comes out of the Nitemare, ranging from touring, to wide-open, to everything in between.

Though the cost of spooks doesn't come cheaply. Not including the cost of a donor Ford F-150, the process will cost a total $16,995. It comes with a three-year warrenty, as well. Roush will formally present its 2018 F-150 Nitemare at the 2018 SEMA show, starting tomorrow.
