The only thing harder than finding the right classic car is finding the manual it came with. Something about the ravages of time wrecks ruins on the paper-based helper. Thankfully, Porsche is fixing this problem by offering the official manuals to classic Porsche cars.

The reprinting is being handled through Porsche Classic, the brand's classic car department. They're now offering manuals for every classic model and their variants, going as old as the 356. Currently, they're each offered in English and German, with other languages to come. The manual includes everything you'd expect from such a book, such as specifications and maintenance procedures.

You can order the manual you need on the Porsche Classic website, or at a Porsche dealership. The prices start at $70, varying by model.

The preservation of documentation is very important to keeping a rich history strong. It's good that they're offering this.
