The McLaren Senna caused quite a commotion recently. This is because McLaren released the technical specifications and details of the vehicle. And might I say, wow.

The Senna's 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine pushes out 789 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, but we already knew that. The new information is how this performs. According to the automaker, the Senna can achieve 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds, and 0-124 mph in 6.8 seconds. It can complete the 1/4th mile in 9.9 seconds. My personal favorite statistic is the top speed, which is a staggering 211 mph.

These numbers are great in a straight line, but they don't do justice to the car's ability to work a track. All of that power is held down with 1,700 pounds of downforce, and a total weight of 2,641 pounds. This is thanks to a combination of aerodynamic design and third-generation carbon-fiber monocoque.

Only 500 examples of the supercar will be built. Those who manage one of them will have the color options of Stealth Cosmos black, Trophy Kyanos blue, Trophy Mira orange, Vision Pure white and Vision Victory grey. Each choice accompanied by contrasting hue accents.

Unfortunately, all 500 build slots have been taken. Now you'll have to be happy with window shopping the vehicle when it debuts at the 2018 Geneva motor show next month.
