For the second straight year, it looks like Kia has gotten the top mark on the J.D. Power initial quality survey. Kia is a part of the South Korean company, Hyundai, and was the most loved brand throughout the survey. Second place went straight to Genesis, another Hyundai corporate brand. So, it looks like if you want something satisfying, just look for brand associated with Hyundai!

The J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey ranks brands by the number of flaws found by car owners in the first 90 after purchase. In addition to Kia's second big win, it looks like Detroit's Big 3 also showed improvements. It was found on the survey that GM, Ford, and Fiat Chrysler all had less flaws this year compared to last year collectively.

At the end of the day, this is a big win for Kia. When these cars first started selling in the U.S. their biggest struggle was quality-related issues. Since their launch in America, the car brand has made huge strides forward, and it's clearly paying off as they grab hold of their second first place win in a row!
