Much like it's original owner, this 2017 Ford GT just cannot be held down. Pro-wrestler John Cena's GT is up for auction again, less than two months before it was last time.

The supercar, pushing 647 horsepower, was originally commisioned by Cena. The chassis number (77) matched the wrestler's birth year (1977). Not long ago, the vehicle was then listed on the Monterey Car Week auction, where it sold for a whopping $1,540,000. Now the vehicle has appeared on the Mecum auction list, scheduled for October 3 through 6.

The vehicle was the center of controversy when Ford took legal action against Cena. The automaker claimed that the actor had flipped the vehicle shortly after purchase. This conflicts with documentation during purchase that states the original buyer would not sell the vehicle for at least two years after delivery. The two parties settled the dispute in June, allowing Cena to sell the vehicle not long after. Throughout all of this, the vehicle has been driven a total of 626 miles.

The sharp blue GT certainly has had an interesting history, albeit a short-lived one. We don't expect it to exceed the $1.5 million it built up last time, but it'll likely stay above the million dollar line.
