Remember when Porsche was making a jab at Tesla earlier this week? Now Jaguar is having their hand by putting their cars to the test. While videos comparing vehicles should always be taken with some skepticism, seeing the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace race against the Tesla Model X certainly has our attention.

In the video, the I-Pace and the base Tesla Model X 75D compete in a zero-to-sixty-to-zero test. This is where a vehicle accelerates to 60 mph as fast as possible and coming to an equally abrupt halt. Since this video was released by Jaguar, you can probably guess that the I-Pace won. After that, they bring out a Tesla Model X 100D. To no surprise, the I-Pace won again.

The automaker announced the crossover earlier this week, boasting a 60 mph in 4.5 seconds record. This is 4.9 seconds and 4.7 seconds quicker than the Model X 75D and 100D, respectively.

Of course, this was a Jaguar video. Otherwise we might have seen the Model X P100D Ludicrous+, which is capable of 680 hp and 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds.

All things considered, the I-Pace does a fantastic job. And the fact that it can even compare to Tesla vehicles mark it as a viable full electric vehicle.
