Its almost a tradition to have an unpleasant experience at a car dealership. Whether it's a pushy salesman or hidden fees, too often people loathe the idea of having to negotiate a new car. Hyundai is tired of this problem and looks to resolve it with a new program call Shopper Assurance.

Shopper Assurance consists of 4 primary aspects to hopefully make things easier for you and me when buying a new car.
  • Transparent Pricing: Dealerships participating will now post the fair market pricing(MSRP minus any discounts) on their website for each vehicle. This will simplify the financial search.
  • Flexible Test Drive: Buyers will be able to schedule a time and place to do a test drive of the vehicle they are interested in. No more lunch breaks spent heading to the dealership, you can request the vehicle be at your work, local coffee shop, wherever you need.
  • Streamlined Purchase: Instead of sitting around while your dealer writes out and goes through stacks of paperwork to finalize your sale, they will complete most of your paperwork online BEFORE you arrive. This includes loan applications, payment estimates, trade-in values, and more
  • Three-day Money Back Guarantee: Feeling buyers remorse? you will have 3 days to return the vehicle you purchase for a full refund. The vehicle cannot have more than 300 miles added on since you got it, and has to pass a dealer inspection.
Not everywhere is implementing this immediately, first launching in Miami, Orlando, Dallas, and Houston but will be nationwide by early next year.
