THe 2018 Geneva Motor Show has begun, and we're kicking things off with the latest creation from Hyundai. They bring a focus on "sensuous sportiness" with the Le Fil Rouge Concept.

The Le Fil Rouge is sleek. The low nose and long hood blend smoothly into the rear doors. The grille spans the width of the fascia. The wheel arches blend into the hood, giving it a pair of strong lines. The fastback rear window ends in a large duck-bill spoiler. The rear bumper nestles the trunk lid.

But it's the cabin that best accentuates the fluidic style Hyundai was going for. Wood accents light leather and metal, giving the inside a Swedish style. The primary focus is on the two displays. A digital display covers the driver area, behind the steering wheel. Well, by wheel, we mean square. A high center tunnel creates a small divide between seats, running the length of the cabin and converting into an armrest for the back.

Currently a concept, we most likely won't see a cabin like this come production time. Although we can imagine how the exterior form would influence future models.

According to Hyundai, the Le Fil Rouge and the design language it's introducing will serve as the basis for all next-generation models from the automaker.
