Much like the previously reported Zagato, we have another high-end car that was designed for the Gran Turismo video game series. Honda has unveiled the Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo. The design of this car actually comes close to the long-lived rumors of a "baby NSX" by Honda.

This sleek coup is smaller than the Acura NSX and has the punch of a mid-mounted turbocharged DOHC VTEC 2.0-liter I-4. This should give is an approximate 404hp at 7,500 rpm. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Carbon fiber parts have been fitted to the Sports Vision GT, bringing the total weight down to under 2,000 pounds. Honda went as far to even build a full-scale replica in order to fine-tune the aerodynamics of the vehicle using a wind tunnel.

A lot of work went into the design of the Honda Sports Vision GT, even if it is a virtual environment. As it currently stands, you can only experience the Sports Vision GT in Gran Turismo Sport for the PlayStation 4. Hopefully is it gathers enough attention (and interested buyers) Honda will start real-life production of the vehicle, or something similar in its design.
