Harley Davidson has been suffering this year as sales continue to decline. Merchandise revenue dropped 21 percent in the first quarter, only to be followed up with a 17 percent drop in the second quarter. While the merchandise only takes clothes, jewelry, and the like into consideration, the company is taking a hit.

Harley has announced that they're going to be cutting jobs in the near future to try to stay afloat. Their goal to bring in the next generation of riders is not being met, causing the company to hit a downward spiral. Millennials aren't buying enough from Harley Davidson, and as their older riders continue to age, the bikes get used less and less.

People really love to blame Millennials for everything, but the companies should really reflect inward. If they aren't doing anything to keep up with a changing world, that's on them. Personally, I don't find motorcycles appealing. I've been around them my entire life, but I would rather buy one really nice car than have a decent car and a decent bike. Maybe it's just my stupid millennial brain, but I won't be helping out Harley Davidson any time soon.
