The Lamborghini Aventador is already a potent vehicle. Its break-neck speed is an excellent metaphor for the way it turns the heads of its onlookers. But even in its awesome state, there's still room for improvement. That's the mindset of German tuning firm DMC, as they trimmed away the fat.

Like with any weight-loss program, the key is carbon fiber. DMC replaces anything they can with the material to minimize unneeded heft. The wing and engine cover stands out the most, with the front fascia and spoiler looking as intimidating as ever. In the back is a new rear diffuser and a reworked exhaust.

While you can order this kit for your own ride, DMC will also build three examples. Each one will sport its own unique color, an upgraded Fie exhaust system, and a set of Forgiato wheels.

This is by no means an affordable process. DMC prices the carbon kit at $88,880. Though if you own the $400,000-plus vehicle, then I'm sure it's manageable.

The Lamborghini Aventador is one of my favorite vehicles. Its amazing power within a beautiful body is legendary work. To see it expanded on even more has certainly made my day. Now if only I could afford one.
