Faraday Future continues to surprise us with their efforts to stay alive. Now the electric startup car company has partnered with a Chinese video game company to help with their financial struggles.

The company, The9, is a $100 million valued Chinese company with a focus on video games. They hold the rights to games like "World of Warcraft" in China, for example. Faraday Future has entered a joint venture with the company, at a split 50/50. The venture will fund, produce, and market the automaker's FF91 vehicle to the United States. If anything goes well, they will produce 300,000 cars per year with the first cars ready for sale in China in 2020.

This is only the latest in a surprising and somewhat depressing adventure of Faraday Future's Financial issues. The company has lost a major investor, sold their property in Vegas, and even sold their headquarters to a real estate agent only to lease it back.

This is the third time now I've expected to hear the last of Faraday Future. I can admire their perseverance, at least.
