Care By Volvo, the automaker's subscription service, is about to grow a little larger. The list of available models is expanding from a single vehicle option to the entire model selection currently available.

Instead of financing or buying a car, the brand offers Care By Volvo, which "rents" a vehicle to the customer for a base monthly fee. In exchange, the automaker covers the cost of insurance, repairs, and everything other than gas, registration, and local taxes. The program originally offered the XC40 crossover SUV as their sole option.

In an announcement made on Monday, the service will now offer the S60 sedan, the V60 Cross Country wagon, the XC60 crossover SUV, and the XC90 crossover. This includes the Momentum and R-Design trims. The only models that Volvo currently sells that were not included are the S90 sedan and the V90 Cross Country wagon.

The service price per month varies depending on your options. The XC90 T6 AWD Momentum costs the most at $800 a month, while the XC40 T5 AWD Momentum is the most affordable at $700 a month.

Personally, I'd rather know that my money is going toward equity of some form. While the program sounds convenient, I can't imagine spending $8,400 after a year and having nothing to show for it if I stopped.
