Brabham automotive, and their race team, has given us a glimpse of their upcoming track based supercar, including specs. Like many models born from this brand, it follows the same naming convention with the title "BT62." While it's not scheduled to reveal until May 2, the company has leaked a small taste of what to expect early.

The BT62 will have a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V-8 for power. This will also give is a very raw engine sound and over 700 horsepower. Stopping such power are carbon-ceramic discs with six-piston calipers at all corners. The vehicle's dry weight of only 2,143 lbs comes from its almost entirely carbon fiber body.

The impressive part is the vehicle's estimated downforce, which clocks in at 2,645 pounds. This is on par with some of the other top-of-the-line supercars, and it outperforms its direct rival, the McLaren Senna.

The visual teaser we are given is a dark view of the vehicle's rear, illuminated entirely by the BT62's taillights. It appears to be a wide and low vehicle. Vertical LEDs in a T-shape act as the vehicle's taillights, resting underneath an impressive spoiler.

Only 70 total BT62 vehicles will be produced. This is because it marks the 70th anniversary of the titular company's co-founder, Jack Brabham, starting the motorsport company in Australia.

Don't expect them to sell out immediately. Pricing for a single BT62 starts at $1.42 million. But if you do manage to find the cash and availability, the first example are due to ship out by the end of 2018.
