Anthony West, a veteran Australian racer, managed to save himself after his Kawasaki entered a nasty death wobble coming around a bend. He was traveling over 200kph and ended up being dragged on his feet by the bike for quite a while. He eventually slowed the bike down and was able to hop back on.

Crashes during MotoAmerica races can be extremely scary. Whether it's due to the high speeds or complete lack of protection, these races can turn into a disaster fairly quickly. Had West not been able to save himself, he easy could have rolled into the path of another bike coming down the hill.
