Some might remember Acura's Precision concept from 2016. It looked sharp and attractive, for sure. The design seems to have influenced some modern models, like the 2019 RDX for example. But now there's word it will become its own production model.

According to a report by Car and Driver, Acura is working on a flagship sedan with a fastback body. They also state that said model will be unveiled at the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance as a production-ready concept.

The automaker normally relied on the RLX as their flagship vehicle. But with underperforming sales in the United States (less than 2,000 units sold in 2018), they might be looking to replace it with something more appealing to western audiences.

All we can do now is wait and see what they have to offer.
