A special 1968 Dodge Charger RTR has made its way into Jay Lemo's Garage after being left with little attention in the 2017 SEMA show that took place earlier this year in Las Vegas. The Charger and its creator, Johan Eriksson, traveled all the way from Sweden to make the appearance.

The Charger was a large project by a small team. Eriksson and a few others customized the RTR out of a small shop in Scandinavia. The project took about 5 years to complete. A surprisingly short span of time, considering the level of detail both inside and outside the vehicle. Jay Leno even remarked that the quality what equal to, if not better, than most major American body shops.

Eriksson had found the old Charger in bad shape after retiring from a life of racing. He had taken the body and attached it to a Chevrolet C6 Corvette Chassis, reforming it into the creation it is today. It features a Viper 8.4-liter V-10 engine with twin turbochargers. This gives it a kick of 1,000 horsepower, though Eriksson claims he could achieve 1,500bhp is he wanted.

The inside is clad in aluminum, formed by hand. A 6-speed manual shift sits at the ready. The video above from Jay Leno's Garage shows all the beautiful detail that's been put into this vehicle.
